Richardson Community Early Childhood PTA 
 
The Richardson Community Early Childhood PTA aims to enrich the lives of neighborhood children by encouraging families to become involved in our community, as well as gain friendships among other families.  We also provide support to Richardson Area Elementary Schools through various fundraisers and community involvement.
 
Richardson Community Early Childhood PTA  is a group of families in the Richardson and North Dallas area with children birth to 6 years of age.  Our purpose is to offer parent education, activities for young children and information on community issues and schools.
RCECPTA is associated with the Richardson Independent School District (RISD) and the National PTA, but our organization also has members with kids attending or planning to attend both public and private schools, as well as parents who work part-time, full-time, or stay at home.

 Hopefully, our general meetings and children's activities give you a chance to meet many people in our community.  Please see our calendar for upcoming events!!

How do I join the RCECPTA?
Anyone may join us.  Although we are organized through the Richardson School District, you do not have to live within the boundaries to be a member. When does the RCECPTA meet?
General meetings are scheduled for the 2nd Thursday of each month at 10:00 am at the YMCA. Social catch-up and childcare drop off start at 9:30. Please see our calendar for more specific details and other future events.
 
How much are the dues?
Yearly dues are $17.00 for one parent or $20 for two parents.  Costs include meetings, membership to state and national PTA, and access to all PTA information.

Is there a nursery available?
Yes.  General Meetings are held at the Richardson YMCA who provide our childcare. RSVP for childcare is the Monday prior to meeting, and the fee is $2 per child.   Please RSVP to Karen Breazeale at thebreazeales@sbcglobal.net.  The calendar will list specifics for childcare for any other events.
